Punishment
I didn't stick to it.
Couldn't.
I resisted so much throughout the day. Muffins, cake, the lolly cart... the lolly cart... the lolly cart... and then NOT the lolly cart... I didn't go overboard, but I did go over my limit. And later I visited my brother in hospital and ate the majority of his "get well soon" candy.
But this evening in penance I went to the gym and I punished my body. Absolutely worked it until every ounce of strength had left me. I'm not sure that it was adequate compensation, but I didn't throw up and that is the most important thing. I'm at a stage where I am trying to accept that my weight may have to go up before it can come down. It is the price to pay for changing my life for the better.

yay for not purging! & absolutley a change for the better
ReplyDeletePurge-free, day one. (:
ReplyDeleteYou can do this, Pasco!
*hugs*
The important thing is that you didn't purge; it takes a lot of strength just to do that. And it's better to be an "exercise bulimic" or a compulsive over-exerciser than harm your body via puging.
ReplyDeleteI also love the photo that you posted. It's gorgeous. :)
But you didn't purge. It's still a win.
ReplyDeleteI really hope you can do this. I'm sure you can, but I'm eequally sure it will be difficult.
I am very proud of you.
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to change habits, and you are doing really great. Even if you would slip once you would still do an amazing job.
Believe in yourself! I do....
Take good care.
You are so very inspiring, love. God, so inspiring. I've felt myself un-inspirable (yes, I just made that up...) for so long. Reading this, though...
ReplyDelete(this is selfish, but...) it's just what I needed to see. Beauty and perseverance and strength and you're just ...all around lovely. And you work so hard. And when you have the body that makes you happy, the one that's healthy and strong and sexy and beautiful...it'll be because YOU WORKED SO GODDAMNED HARD FOR IT.
Just you. Not anyone else. And that...has gotta feel incredible.

I wish you well, lovely lady.
