LOL! I had the same reaction when I did it. It took awhile to be effective. Most answers on why you should use table salt are vague, but I did read somewhere once giving me a real answer at some point but I can't remember it for the life of me haha. Did you gain any weight from the water/sodium? That was the biggest deterrent for me. 4 pounds of water and excess salt was just too much for me to psychologically process :)Thanks for your recent comments, btw.
